Folic Acid No! Folate Yes!

The following is an excerpt from some very important information I came across today while researching vitamin B3.

I was reminded that there is a difference, a big difference between folate and folic acid and that I had read somewhere that folic acid is not only inferior but may actually promote cancer cells and cancer development.

Folic acid is the synthetic form of the B vitamin and Folate is the close to the natural/vegetable form.

The links on this page come from the writing of Chris Kresser.

Visitors might want to consider buying only multiple vitamins that contain folate and discarding any multi-vit's you may have containing folic acid.

The Power of Medicinal Mushrooms

A wonderful discussion and information about the life value that mushrooms offer, thanks goes out to WholeFoods Magazine.

With our toxic environments and genetic factors being what they are, we owe it to ourselves to investigate and consider supplementing with mushrooms which have in the past proven themselves to be immune system strengtheners and anti cancer agents.

L-Carnosine Info

For those with concerns about eyesight integrity over time and cataract avoidance, please read up on carnosine.  This is also useful in support of hearing loss and should be taken on an empty stomach.  Doing more research is important so be sure to Google for additional info but I have found it useful in eye drops I took for several months.

Turkey Tail Mushroom Beneficial to People and Pets

Visitors may find these informational links of importance.  While doing research some time ago, I came across very fascinating information a substance that grows in many places worldwide.  Turkey tail mushroom has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to strengthen the immune system and to ward off cancer and less serious diseases for ages.

Links to scientific study on this mushroom which contain polysaccaride compounds, discuss the benefits turkey tail mushroom provides, and some of the scientific background and findings you may find useful.

American clinical trials are underway with this substance and it has been used in Japan
cancer treatment for thirty years.  This multi-colored mushroom has proven itself useful against specifically prostate cancer as well as other forms of this cellular disorder.

Other information about turkey tail mushroom for dogs and cats shines a light on just how vital this mushroom is and how worthwhile it would be for readers with interest to research further
